Hot Pink Roses in the Village at Lions

Hot Pink Roses and White Hydrangea Wedding Flowers

a Civil Partnership in the Unitarian Church, Dublin, Ireland.

and Reception at the Village of Lyons, Kildare, Ireland.

The Unitarian Church in Dublin was choosen by the same sex couple for their civil partnership celebration, or as everyone calls it their gay wedding. It is in Ireland only recent that same sex couples can enter into a civil partnership. A full gay wedding is not yet allowed in Ireland.

Lamber de Bie was delighted and honored to be choosen by the couple to look after the flowers for their big day.

The whole theme of the wedding was build around Hot Pink roses and white Hydrangea flowers.

We also used lots of green Shamrock Chrysant blooms, dark green aspidistra leaf, white Peony flowers, hot pink Hydrangea, white roses and white scented stock.

At the Unitarian church the entrance porch end stairs were decorated with large displays of white and hot pink flowers. the pews were decorated with large white hearts decorated with scented stock and hot pink roses and on the top table there was a long display across the front with lots of white hydrangea, roses and scented stock with lots and lots of stunning hot pink roses.

As we were only allowed to use candles on the top table we decided to go for the best of handmade candles that Lamber commissioned in the exact colour of the hot pink roses. The candles were created by Moth to a Flame in Bennitsbridge, Co. Kilkenny.

The same candles were later also used at the Village of Lyons for the wedding reception.

At the entrance of the reception venue at the Village of Lyons Lamber de Bie Flowers used lots of large, white wooden lanterns with again the hot pink candles. Lots of candles were also used on the fireplace in the ballroom as well as in the reception and bar area and of cource on the dining tables.

The tables were decorated using the tall silver candelabra's provided by the Village of Lyons with large circular arrangements at the base and trailing green natural Ivy with white and hot pink Hydrangea flowers tied to the candelabra's.

All off the team at Lamber de Bie Flowers would like to wish Cathy & Manny and their Family every best wish for the future and thank you for letting us be part of creating your very special day.
